Moving Forward Together Grant Program

The State of Wisconsin recognizes that community-based organizations and other trusted messengers are experts in their communities’ needs. In order to continue addressing barriers related to promoting acceptance of and access to COVID-19 vaccination, especially among historically sidelined and underserved communities, the Moving Forward Together Grant Program has been established. This grant program will build on lessons learned from similar grant opportunities, and insights gathered from partners and residents across the state. Trusted messengers will provide health education and COVID-19 vaccination efforts as the state transitions from an emergency pandemic response into a recovery and endemic phase, and will contribute to efforts to overcome structural inequities and lift communities disproportionately impacted by the pandemic.
