Sexual Violence Prevention Program - Primary Prevention Capacity Building

The Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS), Division of Public Health (DPH) announces the availability of funds for an organization to build statewide capacity to implement and evaluate primary prevention efforts in Wisconsin. The funded partner will be tasked with developing resources, offering trainings, and providing support and technical assistance to organizations to promote health equity and work to prevent the root causes of sexual violence. The awarded organization will work closely with DHS staff to support the following goals of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) Rape Prevention and Education (RPE) grant: - Increased capacity to promote health equity. - Increased capacity to implement and evaluate sexual violence prevention strategies that address inequities and social determinants of health. - Increased partner and community awareness of effective prevention strategies. - Increased partner coordination to prevent sexual violence.
