Advanced Practice Clinician Grant – 2024
The Wisconsin legislature authorized the APC program (https://docs.legis.wisconsin.gov/document/statutes/146.615) to create and support clinical training opportunities for Physician Assistants (PAs) and Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRNs). APRNs include nurse practitioners, certified nurse-midwifes, clinical nurse specialists, and certified registered nurse anesthetists. The goal of the grant is to expand the use of PAs and APRNs to increase access to health care. Preference is given to programs serving rural areas of the state, however programs serving urban and suburban areas are also welcome to apply.
